BIO
Max Dopulos is an angsty young man who dabbles in prose and songwriting. He is interested in the darker elements of the human experience and the hidden beauty that can be found in them. His work is raw and rough around the edges but with a strong existential backbone that elevates it.
His music video and cover of the Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds song “Watching Alice” was featured on the bands’ YouTube channel. He maintains a biweekly newsletter where he discusses art, literature, cocktails, and whatever else might interest him. His debut album, “Brief Lives” is out now on all major streaming services.
Max has been writing songs since he was 13 years old and has spent the time since then exploring different styles and refining his craft. Some of his biggest influences include Nick Cave, Leonard Cohen, Lou Reed, and Ian Curtis, as well as Sam Raimi, Federico Fellini, Neil Gaiman, Clive Barker, Caravaggio, Igor Stravinsky, and Anthony Bourdain.
